World Bank Launches Bond in Russian Ruble


Washington, DC, June 18, 2008 – The World Bank launched a Russian Ruble (RUB) 600 million 6-year fixed rate note. The transaction was lead managed by Deutsche Bank, and co-lead managed by Banca Profilo, KBC International Group, RBCCM, and UBS. The notes will be placed with retail and institutional investors in Luxembourg.


Amount: RUB 600 million
Settlement Date: July 10, 2008
Maturity Date: July 10, 2014
Issue Price: 100.675%
Coupon: 8% semi annually
Denomination: RUB 50,000
