World Bank Bond in Turkish Lira


Washington, DC, February 9, 2007 - The World Bank launched a Turkish Lira (TRY) bond. The notes will be placed with European retail and institutional investors via UBS Investment Bank as the lead manager and ABN Amro, Banca Profilo, KBC, and RBC Europe Ltd. as co-managers.

Settlement date: February 20, 2007
Maturity Date: February 19, 2010
Issue price: 101.085%
Coupon: 17.625% annually (short first coupon)
Denomination: TRY 2,000 and integral multiples thereof
Listing: Luxembourg
