The 2024 The International Development Association (IDA) Impact Report is focused on IDA Sustainable Development Bonds, and the IDA-financed projects supported by these bonds in fiscal year ending June 30, 2024. The report illustrates how bond proceeds support the financing of projects and programs in IDA member countries in line with the World Bank Group mission to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity on a livable planet.
Results: The FY24 Impact Report features a set of indicators that aggregate results delivered through IDA-financed operations during FY23-FY24, released in October 2024 through the IDA Results Measurement System. The World Bank Group tracks and measures how IDA inputs and activities help client countries deliver tangible results that contribute to high-level development outcomes across different sectors.

Bond Issuance: IDA has been issuing bonds in the international capital markets since 2018. In FY24, IDA issued $11.9 billion in Sustainable Development Bonds.
